Medicaid Coverage Update (2023)

Medicaid Coverage Update Image

Do you have Medicaid? Throughout 2023 and early 2024, Medicaid recipients will be required to re-apply for Medicaid assistance to ensure they are eligible, which will then continue annually as it did before the 2020 Public Health Emergency.

The Department of Children and Families will send you a letter in the mail to let you know when it is time to re-apply. If you have a cell phone number on file, they will also send you a text message. It is very important that your mailing information be up-to-date with the Department of Children and Families to receive this important notice.

Some people may be automatically renewed, in which case they will receive a letter from the Department of Children and Families that says so.
