The Aging & Disability Resource Center provides an Information and Referral Program. This Program provides YOU with a "one-stop shop" for finding information regarding services in Broward County available for seniors, persons with severe and persistent mental illness, their families, and caregivers. It is the official Elder Help Line for Broward County.

Information and Referral Specialists

Trained Information and Referral Specialists are ready to listen to your concerns and provide you with information for a variety of senior service providers, including publicly funded and private pay services. Our staff can assist you in English, Spanish, and Creole.

Walk-ins also are welcome. The ADRC's office is located at: 5300 Hiatus Road, Sunrise, FL 33351.

Our Information and Referral Services are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Community Resource Directory—Print Edition

The new 2019-2020 Aging and Disability Resource Center’s (ADRC) Directory of Community Resources has arrived!

The document is the most comprehensive and up-to-date Senior Data Source in Broward County. It contains over 350 pages of updated information regarding programs and services for elder residents of Broward. It is a valuable educational tool for case managers, attorneys, libraries, physicians, senior projects, elected/appointed officials, caregivers, and all others seeking data pertinent to aging.

The Directory is available for $25 (twenty-five dollars) a copy if picked up at the administrative Offices of the Aging and Disability Resource Center, located at 5300 Hiatus Road, (three blocks south of Commercial Boulevard), in Sunrise.

The Directory by also be ordered by mail for $32.50 (thirty-two dollars, and fifty cents) per copy. Checks should be made payable to the Areawide Council on Aging, sending it to:

Broward County Support Groups

There are many helpful Support Groups (Bereavement, Caregiver Training and Support, LGBT, Alzheimer's and more) available in Broward County where you can find encouragement, comfort, and advice as well as build relationships with people having experiences and concerns similar to yours.

Legal Assistance

The Senior Citizen Law Project offers legal advice and representation to Broward County residents, 60 years of age and older. Legal assistance is provided for: housing, health related issues; governmental benefits; consumer issues; and naturalization. Services are targeted to low income and minority persons.
