In June, newly inducted Broward Senior Hall of Famers John and Gale Fontaine were the featured guests on "Spotlight on Seniors." Their program was titled "Pair of Elders Have No Par." The Fontaines are highly involved volunteers with a number of organizations in the County, including the Aging & Disability Resource Center. Gale is the Immediate Past Chair of the ADRC Advisory Council.

Returning in April to "Spotlight," was Dr. Anurag Agarwal, Medical Director of Radiation, Broward Health. Dr. Agarwal discussed "CyberKnife - a Possible Cure: The Medicine of Hope." Since 2001, Dr. Agarwal has used this unique highly specialized treatment for cancer patients. It's the world's only robotic radiosurgery system designed to non-invasively treat tumors anywhere in the body.

The March program featured Shelly Greenberg, Supervisor, North Broward Memory Disorder Center. Mrs. Greenberg was honored at the January Installation Dinner as "Project Personality of the Year." Her show was titled "Care Assistance Program—Benefitting Those Who Care."

In February, 2010 Installation Dinner "Elected Official of the Year" recipient Broward County Commissioner Ilene Lieberman appeared on "Spotlight on Seniors." Her program was "2010 Census: Make Your Voice Count." Commissioner Lieberman discussed the importance of everyone completing the Census form.
