In September, Ms. Lederberg talked to Dr. Naushira Pandya, Professor and Chair, Department of Geriatrics at Nova Southeastern University, on the program titled "Geriatrics - Falls - Chronic Illnesses: Meeting the Challenges." Dr. Pandya and her geriatric students have partnered with the Aging & Disability Resource Center's Education and Intervention Program, which provides assistance to the extremely needy senior residents in Broward. For their efforts, the collaboration has received a number of prestigious honors, as well as the opportunity to speak at conferences throughout the United States. The Project's Staff is funded by a grant from The Jim Moran Foundation.
