The October program, "You Are the Key to Healthy Living," featured Martha Pelaez, Ph.D., Healthy Living Initiative Director, Health Foundation of South Florida, and Shirley Snipes, Planning Director, ADRC. Through a grant, provided by the Foundation, the ADRC offers educational workshop sessions designed to assist seniors who are disproportionately affected by chronic disease, to take more control of their own health through lifestyle and behavior changes.
