As the prime planning, coordinating, and funding body for services benefitting the multiple needs of over 337,629 year-round senior residents of Broward County, the Aging & Disability Resource Center (Area Agency on Aging) is experiencing waiting lists for a majority of its in-home services, as well as other programs for frail elders. Some State Governmental Dollars have been cut in the new fiscal year.
The non-profit 501(C)(3) organization has decided to appeal directly to the community’s Older Browardians for financial support to aid its endeavors to respond positively to the prayers of the targeted population and its caregivers.
